Focus: Standard-sport
A standard tyre with an added dose of sportiness — Altenzo Sports Tempest is one of them. The basis stays balanced: comfort, quietness and tread life at the level of an ordinary tyre. The manufacturer adds a stiffer sidewall or a grippier compound, so the response is sharper at speed and through corners. The ideal is that none of it comes out of the tyre's mileage.

What owners say
These tyres are not for driving in more than 10+ celsius, they get wery soft and handling is bad. And under -20 celsius they getting too hard. But overall in snow they are very good. Probably the best snow tyres at that price range. Now it's 3rd year after 15000 driven and they still have more than 7mm left, but 3 years is max with any budget winter tyres, than they get hard and don't do the job as they should.
I would definetly buy again, they are good for wather in my country and my driving style.
I live in Canada and i got these about a month ago (i previously had the michelin x-ice) and ive now put about 1000km on them.
These bad boys GRIP! I have a much easier time navigating through snow than my x-ice which are twice the price! 10 cm of snow is NO PROBLEM! Ive even been driving on ice and wow.. i felt far more control than I expected. This tire’s softness is a “C” rating, so just a bit harder than a pencil eraser.. so the control on ice and snow is beautiful.
The downside to super soft tires
They probably wont last long like a harder compound, but i was looking for safety over longevity, and frankly its just stupid to be driving fast in the winter.
However, just to test these tires out, i went on the highway (dry but cold out) and got up to 130kmph, it was still smooth. Braking power was beautiful and super grippy. My recommendation is to take exit ramps and corners a bit slower though as you can almost feel the tire flexing a bit if you’re going too fast (the steering will have somewhat of a bounciness to it i guess you could say).
I paid $85/tire in Toronto at willy’s tire in north york (by York university) and it’s definitely worth it!
This tire is great on snow and ice but handling is really really bad. sidewalls of the tire is very bad. its very soft. on corners the car shakes wobbles a LOT . very unstable. even i would say scary for fast drivers. if you drive like grandm a than is ok. I would not recomend for fast driving.
