BT016FP

I have this on my GSXR750 and I'm going to replace them after I lost traction and low sided on a low speed turn.
I didn't notice any issues in summer, but as soon as the colder months came, the weakness shows. I have no confidence with this tyre in wet and/or cold weather. It lacks grip on the sides and I'd say it's dangerous.

CBR 600F4, from new came with Bridgestone tyres so iv'e stuck with them, I'm not the fastest rider but when Iv'e needed them to do there job Iv'e never been let down. Even when I have had to go faster round a long right ( because of drifting to far over) hand bend the bike and tyers worked in pure harmony. I always make sure I get the same tyre evening knowing that there may be better tyres on the market now.

I ride a kawasaki z900r and when I bought the bike it come with Dunlop Pro's on as standard and I gates them, a couple of my pals said try the bt016 tyres and I did, am on my 3rd pair now, my bike gets its throat ringed every time I go out and I throw it round corners and these tyres have never let me down. They gave been discontinued now but you can still get them, I will be trying a new tyre next time but have never had any issues with the bt016 but I don't ride in the wet so can't honestly comment in that area.

I live in Singapore, a country with a tropical climate and high humidity, and lots of torrential rains. It is a very small island-like country that mostly communes about 30km at a stretch and rarely above 40km in one go. My bike only weighs about 200+kg. Climate usually above 30-degree Celcius all year round. My average speed in the expressways usually around 80km/h to 100km/h.
I would say this is a good dry grip tyre. The sense of confidence to ride this in dry conditions is high. Tyre seems to warm up fast in the dry weather, especially when riding in the mid-afternoon under the scorching equator sun, it feels really sticky. But Michelin Pilot Power 2CT is still a better dry weather tyre when compared to these in my opinion.
During wet weather, tyre performance is still acceptable, and traction is not excellent but still feels safe. But I would still opt for Michelin Road 5 as my prefered rain tyres.

Really not suitable for British weather. Lack any feel and are awful in the wet. Okay on track
