<p>These tires are so refined; I don't know why an enthusiast would ever run anything else in an all- season in this size. Its chief competitor is the Pirelli P Zero All-Season Plus 3. However, in this size, the Pirelli weighs 3 lbs. more per tire. If all were equal, they're a dead heat. With a 3-lb advantage, the Conti wins every time.</p>

<p>I’ve tired a hand full of commonly cross shopped tires like the Michelin pilot sport 4S and crossclimate 4s and I have to say I would still buy these every day over them. I’ve driven them through heavy rain storms on the way to Canada, through snow heavy Midwest winters, and well into the 90 degree summers it’s a perfect blend of everything you need for any daily driver. I’ve never been scared of driving in the rain or hydroplaning they were way better then I had anticipated in the snow and ice and the way they still grip up and tell me when I’m rotating when summer comes around I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to a set of dedicated winters and for anything under 450hp I don’t see a need for much more with a good driver</p>

These are great tires. I think the first thing anyone should think about when buying, rating or reviewing tires is 'How well do they stack up vs their intended purpose or expectations for their category?' I live in Los Angeles California, but I tend to drive a lot in the (cold) mountains and go on long road trips. In the past, most of my performance tires have been in the very high performance summer category, Michelin Pilot Super Sport etc. One potential big problem with that category: Cold grip. I don't mean wet or ice or snow, just cold air and road temps. My Michelin PS4's on my 2023 BMW 330e were amazing in the dry or the rain, but when I would drive down Mulholland Dr through the Santa Monica mountains to Malibu early on a December morning (temps below 40f), the grip was frighteningly bad. The tires felt hard and slick like they were six years old & bald. I have only owned one set of 'High performance all season' tires before, so I don't have much to compare these to in that category. But my expectations were set by the category of tires I was shopping. These have exceeded my expectations in all but one way, sidewall flex. Which contributes negatively to my road feedback score of 7 for this tire, but also contributes positively to the comfort score of 10. However, I am a performance handling oriented driver, so the road feel is more important than comfort. This is why I put my 'would buy it again' number at 9 instead of 10, purely on road feel, too much sidewall flex. Otherwise, this is nearly a perfect tire for all temperature, aggressive road & mountain drivers. Maybe, the best overall tire I have owned. But that will be determined after I see if it lasts longer than my PS4's (about 25k miles). I tend to replace my tires when the feel/grip starts to degrade rather than when the the measured tread depth is low. Highly recommend 9/10 overall.
In comparing these to my PS4's (best UHP summer tires I have owned to this point) I would give them very high marks.

I've had this tyre on my last two cars, and it has been a champion in the dry, wet and the snow. Got stuck in a snowstorm in the mountains recently and this tyre didn't even blink. I only slid very slightly under aggressive braking once, while not once breaking lateral traction. Highly recommend this tyre for someone who doesn't mind having to replace their tyres every 20-25k miles.

I love these tires! The price is steep for something that you're likely going to daily, but you REALLY do get what you're paying for. Peace of mind in inclement weather, alongside some pretty fantastic grip in the dry, make for a very very convincing package, regardless of price. Your safety matters.
