Continental MaxContact MC7

Review after 12000km:
Wet and dry grip: Superb. Dry and wet braking are awesome. Most importantly, the wet grip is phenomenal! Absolutely no aquaplaning in heavy downpour.
Handling: Excellent. Sidewall is firmer than stock turanza but compared to UHP tyre it's on softer side, but the handling is still very very good.
Noise: Noise increases (around 10%) after 10000km on a coarse road. On smooth road, I barely find a difference.
Wear: When new, all four tyres at around 8.5mm to 8.6mm tread depth. With 5000km rotation interval, now it's sitting at 6.3mm front tyre and 6.5mm rear tyre. I would say it's pretty decent.
Fuel efficiency: First 5000km already noticed a minor drop in fuel efficiency compared to stock turanza. After 10000km, I noticed a slightly bigger drop in fuel efficiency. I normally drive at 110kmh to 130kmh on highway. Rarely rev high and pushes over 140kmh unless I needed to overtake cars quickly.
Overall, I would say MC7 is a very balanced UHP tyre. Hopefully they can improve on their fuel efficiency in the next gen MC8 while keeping the grip, handling and comfort of MC7. Still, very satisfied with my purchase.

Initially, I've had dilemma in choosing between MC7 and PS5, but the seller was kind enough to explain the pros and cons of each tyres and what suits my driving style the most. In the end, I decided to swapped out the stock Turanza T005a to MC7. Eventhough I understand that UHP tyres are noisier and less comfortable, but I still decided to give it go because I love spirited driving on the highway. My initial thought of changing to MC7 is that there will be more tyre noise, firmer and less comfortable but good dry and wet grip. But oh boy... this MC7 surprised me! It's quieter and more comfortable than the stock Turanza T005a, the dry and wet grip are exceptional. I can say overall it exceeded my initial expectation of an UHP tyre, the side wall is firm enough for good cornering as well as shock absorption. There is no aquaplaning in heavy rain and the cornering grip is phenomenal for an UHP tyre. I am very very satisfied with my purchase!

Conti MC7 is excellent in wet conditions. In dry conditions, it is very good although it would not be on par with UUHP tyres like GY Eagle F1 Supersport. Definitely an upgrade from Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP which were the OE tyres. Treadwear life is amazing.

My Tesla Model 3 Long Range had the OE Hankook Evo3 which is designed for driving range. The MC7 significantly stepped up in terms of comfort, noise, and steering feedback but the friction is much more than the stock EV tyres. Hence the driving range is reduced. When you take the pros of the tyres against the cons (pretty much only the higher friction/lower driving range), I think I made the very right decision. The noise and ride quality of the stock Hankook are pretty bad while the steering felt loose. The MC7 are also cheaper to be replaced than the EV tyres. So even the driving range is reduced, the amount of additional cost to charge up the car will be far less than cost of replacing EV tyres.
The treadwear of 360 from MC7 is higher than the stock Hankook 340. So it should last about the same mileage before the next replacement. I did about 50K from the Hankook though.
The MC7 made me at least wanting to drive my car. It made my car suddenly a limo with smoother ride and comfort and less noise. The MC7 fits the purpose of this car with bit of tradeoff with range.
