The largest and best-selling category, and Cooper ZEON CS8 belongs to it. No single property is pushed here at the expense of the others — comfort, grip, noise and tread life keep a sensible balance. For most drivers it is the safest bet: the tyre behaves predictably in the dry and in the wet and covers a decent number of kilometres.

What owners say
I had this tire on my BMW E46 320Ci. In the dry it was gripping alright considering its price, in the wet tho the car lost its rear even in not very demanding situations. Wet braking wasnt that good too. Best thing about the tire is the sporty looking sidewall
Fitted 2.5 years ago on Ford CMax. Around 12,000 miles driven since & our trusted garage said they had perished, would fail the MOT & needed replacement.
Not good enough after just relatively low mileage.
I fitted Cooper Zeon's CS8 two years ago doing about 25K kilometers (17K miles) per year. They were replacing a set of Continentals and were selected due to their cheaper price tag. Although cheaper they were great tires. The side walls appear to be a bit softer than the Conti's or other tires I had before, but overall I was really happy from their grip, handling, dry or wet. Fresh rubber appears quieter compared to their end life and surely returned an very good tread life. I replaced them with a set of Goodyear Asymmetric 6. If anyone is interested in Cooper Zeon CS8 please go ahead and buy them. Just a word of advice for drivers leaving in warm-hot climates. Always look after tire pressures. These tires warm up - overheat in long trips and if you overinflate them you could easily eat away the middle part of the tires.
Possibly the the worst tyres I have ever had. We put these on both of our mini coopers just over a year ago. The first set on the Copper SD: Within 3 months the 2 front had bulges in the sidewalls (they were however quickly replaced under warranty), 8000 miles on the 2 front now need replacing as the tread is on the legal limit as well as showing signs of being perished, and the rears have perished and also need replacing. Second car Mini Cooper - 12,000 miles on front are illegal, and all 4 are showing signs of being perished. Worse tyres we have ever bought and these are not cheap budget tyres. I normally get 15,000-22,000 out of a set of tyres. Will never buy again and are currently awaiting a response from Goodyear (who own them. Given the poor mileage, bulging and short life - I'd class these as budget tyres and suggest they are well overpriced.
