QUALIFIER CORE

<p>Already fitted to a 2015 Ducati Monster 821 as part of the sale, the incredible handling of the bike and nimble chassis go without saying, but I was quite impressed with the grip and performance of the Dunlops. Front shows little sign of wear and with the low price of 180/55 thought it made sense to replace it and keep an all dunlop matched set. In all the time I've ridden the qualifier core it only stepped out of line once and that was under heavy deceleration with the rear brake also applied. Took it right to the edge with confidence, maybe it's a millimeter or two shy in places, but it gripped well under heavy acceleration and never felt like it was about to lose grip even with an acute lean angle.</p>

Rode them half season on 2022 MT09, after second set of stock S22 got worn in 3000 miles.
After the tyre specialist said they’ve gotten something new and consulting the Dunlop website, I decided to give them a shot.
Decent grip, especially in the dry, but significantly worse braking performance.
Wear is ok, better than classic hypersport tyre, but worse than a full blown sport touring.
Slow to turn in and numbs the handlebar sensation, increases the force needed to lean.
The tire is heavy and deformable on acceleration.
Considering the price, it is better than a worn tyre, but not great.
Better suited for lower torque or a bit older bike.
In the end, might go with a sporty sport touring tyre, that is not worse in handling and braking but last longer.

First test after installing on my bike. Very quick warming. Otside tepm was 20 degree C, the road was dry but with a lot of dust and sand. Good road feedback. The perfect budget canyon tire.
