A standard tyre with an added dose of sportiness — Evergreen ES880 is one of them. The basis stays balanced: comfort, quietness and tread life at the level of an ordinary tyre. The manufacturer adds a stiffer sidewall or a grippier compound, so the response is sharper at speed and through corners. The ideal is that none of it comes out of the tyre's mileage.

<p>Real value for money! Super grip in most circumstances on tarmac. Mix of rural roads and motorway driving. Not so good on gravel (Yes I drive on farm tracks). Wear seems very good, even compared with Michelin or Goodyear!</p>
