Focus: Sport
With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Nexen N'FERA RU1 belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

<p>These tires serve as my daily drivers on a Mazda CX-30, replacing the factory Toyo Proxes R56. The tread compound is vastly more durable and delivers significantly better grip, which is particularly noticeable on cold, wet mornings. Performance-wise, the rear-end slip that the Toyos used to suffer from when accelerating out of a dead stop into a corner is completely gone. On top of that, they inspire much more confidence and a greater sense of safety under sudden, hard braking.</p>
<p>I feel very bump on the road, always need keeping driwing wheel. These tyres are for perfect road.</p>
Nightmare for Kia ev6 R20. Handling is awful.
Something wrong with handling. The road shoul be ideal for these tyres.
I'm really surprised at the great value of these tyres. Super impressed that I got at least 65000kms (40000 miles) (On a VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI 4Motion). Unfortunately I was forced to change two tyres because of damage on a bad road. I would have easily got 75000+ out of it. And considering the way I drive, that's saying something!
