With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Tourador X SPEED TU1 belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

Great value
Have these fitted to the rear axle of my Lexus IS250. Bearing in mind that they are a budget touring tyre, they have actually been rather impressive.
Dry grip is decent but not fantastic. Perfectly adequate for a daily driver. Wet grip is decent with sensible driving. Good value.
