<p>As a winter tyre I run the all-season Hankook 4S2 and it is a better tyre, especially in the wet, but it doesn't like the heat of summer, so I can't use it all year. The Toyo is a good summer tyre but not a great summer tyre, especially in the wet.</p>

Using Toyo Proxes TR1 165/50/15 made in Japan for a Perodua Kelisa since 2023, I have driven it for more than 20,000 km. I feel confident in both dry and wet conditions. Braking distance is shorter and cornering is sharper. However, the tire wears quickly. Maybe lower treadwear. I would buy again, but research on Kumho, Falken, and Yokohama made me think again.

I hate these tires because of their too soft shoulder, even at 2.8 Bar the problem was not solved and the car drifted into understeer, I found that the tires with the factory pressure set for the car 2.3 front and 2.1 rear drive better always sacrificing corner entry but with this grip is really strong, the steering always arrives late when you enter the curve you can&#39;t afford to make sudden movements with the steering wheel or they become highly imprecise and when you go fast you tend to correct the steering in the curve, however they lose grip in a very intuitive and linear way and always balanced never aggressive understeer but slip into a slight oversteer that helps to close the curve, the trick to using these tires at their best is to use the steering gently to set up the curves. Terrible on rough roads it seems like the car is coming apart due to how much the shoulder moves and in the wet nothing special they are certainly safe but not excellent, good driving comfort they seem quite quiet. In short, if the tire didn&#39;t have such a lousy sidewall, I wouldn&#39;t buy anything else, but it&#39;s really a flaw I can&#39;t overlook for the sake of driving. I can&#39;t really judge wear since I drive with a particular camber and toe, but it&#39;s already a lot that I&#39;ll be able to get two years out of them (excluding winter).

I own a 2001 golf cabrio 1.9tdi 90hp and my first upgrade was wheels and tyres, the there are not that much tyres available in the size i need but this was one of the options at my local tyre shop, i really like them for the price, nice sporty feeling. On the dry i feel like i have infinite grip, the understeer comes on slowly but is predictable and controlable, but im not a lot on the point of oversteer i need to really need to try. on my car they are relativly low profile so they are pretty stiff and sensitive, but when the road is smooth i really love the tyres. last summer when the tires where new i rode the stelvio pas to the top, lots of grip in the hairpins, best part was the downhill in switserland, whet they got up to temperature i had loads of grip, with no sign of fading. on the wet they are still pretty good, but it understeers a lot quicker but still predictable and controlable unlike my previous tyres. love the for the price would buy again

Grip in the dry is phenomenal. Eagle F1 levels of dry grip and for such an affordable price too. Bang average in the wet, but it's a UHP summer tyre!! Absolutely nothing else can beat it at this price point.
