With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Vredestein ULTRAC VORTI+ belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.
