Technical information
Focus: Sport
With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Hankook K137A VENTUS EVO SUV belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

What owners say

I have used this tyre in Germany for 13000km, in tempatures ranging from 4-40C. Excellent dry and wet grip. Also the price is very competitive, comfort ofcourse is bad because of the low profile tyresize.

I was previously using the 2025 production Michelin Primacy 5. Now I've switched to Hankook Ventus Evo. In terms of comfort and noise, it definitely doesn't fall short of the Primacy 5. However, in wet and dry braking grip, the Hankook Ventus Evo 3 is superior. I highly recommend it to everyone; it ranks among the rare products that are worth the price.

Grip and feedback is excellent, wear is less than I expected and the noise level and rolling resistance is low as promised and what I bought them for. Downsides: They are not great but not bad either on aquaplanning and they can be a bit unsure of themselves on very bad surfaces.

One year and approx. 10.000 miles later, the Hankooks are still unbeleivable. Mega grip in wet and dry conditions still much better then the Michelin's, in the winter I have use other tyres. Comfort wise, noise is still lesser then the OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, the ride is not as good as the Michelin's but still very good, as far a 18" 40 series tyr can be comfortable.
The wear is as far as it looks until now better then the Michelin's too.

I had previously had Michelin Pilot Sport 3 S (BMW Star marked). Wanted to switch away from Runflat tires. Compared to them, definetly more comfortable, quieter and have better grip. The steering response is worse than the PS3S-s but that's probably due to softer sidewals.
