The manufacturer aims to keep fuel consumption low without paying for it with the weaker wet behaviour typical of purely economical models. In practice it is a tyre for drivers who cover a lot of kilometres and do not want to give up much safety along the way.

What owners say
These tires come as original equipment on a 2026 T-Roc. Overall, they are decent; road holding is adequate, though they lack comfort-feeling harsh on dry roads and lacking a refined, cushioned feel. Noise levels are acceptable, but on certain road and highway sections, there is noticeable high-frequency noise intrusion, and sometimes suspension noise transmits through on specific stretches of highway. While these tires are quieter than the EcoContact 6s I had on a Ford Focus Active, they don't offer the same level of pleasant, comfortable, and quiet driving as Michelin Primacy 4+ or Falken Ziex 320 tires.
Found these VERY efficient, smooth and quiet. Handling is great with good comfort, no fuzz and not to sensitive to road irregularities like the Michelin Primacy 4 on the other car.
From the winter tire swap these increased range with 5,4%
They're good tires and for the money they're amazing, but the comfort is bad.
